About Our Team

Professional & Friendly team members

Here at James’ Family Services we have colleagues not staff. Our office is looked after by our two friendly support dogs Storm and Jake.

When visiting our offices you will be greeted by our friendly  team members who are here primarily to support you through the grieving process. This can include cuddles from Jake and Storm who are akin to giant teddy bears if you would like.

James was the kind of person you meet once and never forget. His empathetic approach to all in need was unparalleled, positively touching so many lives he will be remembered forever more.
James was passionate about his role in helping clients through such difficult times. James prioritised caring for loved ones with respect and preserving their dignity, always going the extra mile to support families throughout the funeral process and beyond.
James was a trained counsellor who had many years of experience within Funeral care. He had a deep understanding of The Grief Process. James held a firm belief in supporting British businesses and a providing sustainable service which is environmentally aware.

Gareth Green

Managing Director

Gareth Green (James’s Brother) has been a part of the James’ Family Services Family since 2012. He actually was involved with the planning and build of our offices prior to us opening in 2012. Having experienced personal loss he wanted to bring his own experiences to help others in their time of need.

Gareth and his team treated Keith and the family with a great deal of care and respect. He was my brother and my partner Brian’s brother in law and there couldn’t have been a better way to say goodbye, at the Crematorium and also in Amesbury for the internment. Keith was a lovely husband , father, son and brother, and we miss him every day. I must say that Gareth and his team made our farewells a little easier to bear. Well done!

It does indeed seem odd to review a buisness of this nature, but it is a time when you really need compassion, and James Family Services was this and more to my family and I. Unfortunately, we have had to use the servcies of James’ Family Services twice this year. The fact we decided to use them for the most recent loss speaks for itself. Nothing is too much trouble, they are at the end of the phone night and day, and show nothing but kindness and respect for the family, and indeed loved ones we lost.
